Seddana Pagoda is
a pagoda on the medieval
Sinhalese dagaba, and has a
bell-shaped dome on a circular base.
This large, bell-shaped pagoda is set on four square terraces,
each fronted by a standing Buddha image in brick-and-stucco. On each
side of the terraces, at the base of the pagoda, are 39 images
of elephants making a total of 156 elephants. At the southwest
base of the pagoda, there is an entrance inside the monument.
Inside, there is a 4 feet square-type stone box in which are
ancient glazed plaques and bronze images. The
pagoda was built by Htilominlo and stands slightly south of
Thiripyitsaya.
