Shwe Laik Tu Temple

Location : Northeast of Htilominlo Temple
Region : Nyaung U & Wetkyi-In

Date : 13th Century
Monument Number : 259

Shwe Laik Tu Temple was built during the 13th Century. It is located in the southwest part of Wetkyi-In Village. The original donor of this temple is still unknown.

Inside the temple are some remains of the ancient mural paintings of Bagan period. There are also Standing and Sitting Buddha Images with magnificent designs.
